Trouble Keeping Connection On Buffalo Router?

Hello, I recently started a new job and my company uses a wireless "Buffalo" router for their internet. The only problem is that it seems heavily encrypted and I get an error every time it tries to connect... I have already done some troubleshooting options and went into the router to find "a password" to make the internet work (temporarily). The main problem with this is that the password is _64 characters long of random numbers and letters_, and I have been typing this in multiple times a day to get it to work... I type this password into "Network Diagnostics" because this seems to be the only way to get the internet to connect. The password actually doesn't work from just selecting the wireless network from the Airport drop-down menu and saving the password in Network settings doesn't seem to work either. It seems like when the computer goes to sleep or is turned off, it loses the password and the connection and I have to go through the whole process of entering in a 64 digit password over again (you can imagine how annoying this in itself is, but think about how many times this has failed from typos, yeah, soooo annoying). Anyway, do you have any suggestions on how to hard-line the internet connection here? I probably just think I know what I'm doing but if you guys have some advice, I'd really appreciate the help. Thanks.

Unable to Share Connection With Buffalo Airstation?

I just moved into a student apartment which has internet included. There is an RJ45 jack on the wall I am I able to use internet normally when using an Ethernet cable. However, I can't share the connection wirelessly. I have a Buffalo ADSL Modem/router which I would like to use to share the connection. The first time I plugged the cable into one of the 4 LAN slot, I was able to browse wirelessly but after a few minutes it stopped working and has not worked ever since. Could it be some kind of restriction on their part? Is there any special configuration settings to share my connection in such a way? Note that I don't use any DSL (phone) line here, I only have access to an Ethernet cable. When trying to browse Chrome gives me "Cannot load page because the DNS lookup failed"

How to Hard Reset a Buffalo Router?

I was trying to configure my Buffalo WZR-600DHP to connect to a VPN and send all traffic through it. I've managed to completely screw up the routing table, so I want to reset the unit back to factory settings. Unfortunately, I can't for the life of me find the reset button. As I am visually impaired, the diagrams in the manual, if any, do not help me. Can someone please describe the location of the reset button on this type of router? I've spent all morning trying various buttons and places that look like pin-hole reset buttons, and just haven't had any luck.

Why Is My Buffalo Router Not Connecting To The Internet?

I was cut off from the internet a few days ago and got it back this morning. When i turned the laptop on it asked me to log in to wireless. I disconnected and re-tried and it hasn't asked me to log in since. It tells me that it's connected to the internet however it never loads. When i tried wireless on my iPod it said it was connected fully (three bars) to the router however when i tried loading the internet it loads for a long time then ultimately tells me that the server has stopped responding. If i connect the laptop directly to the modem instead of through the router it works fine which means that the issue is the router itself. Any help would be much appreciated, Thanks.

Why Is My Buffalo Router Keeps On Disconnecting?

I have a Buffalo router that has been great except for one problem. It disconnects me for a couple seconds once ever 40 to 60 minutes. This isn't noticeable if I'm visiting websites but if I'm streaming music or video or playing an online game I get disconnected from it and have to start streaming the media again or reconnect to the game server. I've reset the router to factory defaults to make sure it wasn't my configuration and I've changed the MTU size (Buffalo's suggestion to me) to no avail. I updated the firmware and haven't seen any change. This happens to every PC connected to the router and it doesn't happen when I bypass the router. I'm hoping to avoid replacing the router as I no longer have my proof of purchase and Buffalo won't replace it for free without one. Any ideas of something else I should try?

No Internet Connection On Using Buffalo Whr-G300N?

I have used the Buffalo WHR-G300N over 2 years while I will use it for connecting all of my devices to Internet @ home. However two days ago I have the issue that the router suddenly disconnected from the Internet -- all of my devices (wired and wireless Notebook, Mac Mini, iPhone x 2, iPod Touch, iPad, Nexus 7, Windows Phones x 2) cannot connect with the router. I have tried to turn router Off and On -- the internet connection was back to normal for several minutes.

Why Is My Buffalo Router So Slow?

The speeds and signal strength on all wireless devices in my house are substantially slower. Admittedly I have yet to update the firmware from the version that came pre-installed. I plan on doing this tonight.Has anyone else experienced this? Are there things beyond the firmware update that I can do to improve performance? If not this thing is assuredly getting sent back.

Ever Since Firmware 2.27 Upgrade to Fix QOS Problem?

Ever since I've upgraded my firmware on my Buffalo Router and Access Points WZR-1750DHP to the current firmware of 2.27 to fix my QOS issue my Access Points have become quite unstable. They bounce randomly throughout the day. I've called Buffalo technical support and they don't seem to care. Buffalo Tech has said that I can't 'Roll Back' to a previous firmware and all they suggested is to replace them. Replacing them with new units with older firmware wont fix my issue because then QOS will be broken. I noticed NTP was an issue in the previous firmware as well. I currently have that service disabled on my Access Points. I don't know what could be causing this problem or what to double check. Before the firmware upgrade all units were stable. They are all the same make/model.. The actual 'Master' router seems to be stable with the 2.27....just not the AP's. Ideas?
