Is there anyone who can tell me how to plug Roku streaming stick into Vizio D48-d0 TV? Actually I have setup everything correctly but still, Roku screen is not displaying on my TV. In fact, the light of Roku remote is still flashing and when I press the Home button, only a blue or black screen displays on my TV. I have also set up my TV to video input after connecting to Roku but still, I am unable to enjoy streaming. Is the problem related to Roku stick or my TV, please suggest me something?
The reason for your Roku stick to not show any valid window can be attributed to some software snag or internal software failure. I will discuss a few troubleshooting techniques to resolve the issue, kindly follow them carefully:
Step 1: Connect your Roku device to a power outlet and then connect it to your Vizio TV using the HDMI cable. Once the connection has been established, power on both your TV and Roku device. Insert the batteries in your remote and press the home button to start the setup.
Step 2: The Roku device will start the setup and ask to choose a few options. Select them, in case of a network, you can choose a wired connection if you feel your Roku device can be connected directly to your router or you can opt for a wireless option. Enter the SSID and Password to connect to your network.
Step 3: If you are still getting the same issue, reset your Roku device, and start from step 1 and see if the issue is resolved. if the problem persists, use the Port-forwarding option on your router device to open a separate port for your Roku device.
Step 4: Update your Roku device with software, if the problem of blank screen prevails then chances are it might have an internal software issue which you are not able to detect, go to your Roku account and look for any immediate software update available.
Download the update and install it on your Roku device and restart the process from step 1 as mentioned above.
Hopefully, these instructions helped you resolve the problem with your Roku device, in case you have any further doubts or queries regarding the same then feel free to respond back and I will try my best to help you out!
