Recently I bought an Airport Express with 802.11n. I have a 2-Wire modem at home a 2701 HG-B. I have heard of people who had extended their Linksys with an Airport Express. I was wondering how I would be able to do this on the 2Wire with Airport Utility on my Mac. Thanks a lot for the help.

Materials Needed for Extended a 2wire network via the Airport Express are Mac running OS X 1.5 or later 2wire wireless network Airport Express.
Step-1 Firstly plug your Airport Express into the standard electrical outlet.
Step-2 In the dock on the Mac Computer click on the finder icon that can able to create a 2wire connectivity in your home as well as official use.
Step-3 At the left hand side of the window and in the given list of places select highlight applications.
Step-4 Now open your utility folder and then you need to double click on the Airport Utility icon.
Step-5 On the left hand side of the window which is at all yours nearby devices then choose Airport Express and then click on manual setup.
Step-6 At the top of the Airport Express configuration page under window tab.
Step-7 In the drop down menu open wireless mode and then select the option of Participate in a WDS network.
Step-8 Now click to WDS button and then try to set the WDS mode field for WDS relay.
Step-9 In the 2wire router appropriate text field enter your MAC address in the given field.
Step-10 This needs to check for allowing wireless clients and then press Ok. Then click apply to save your Airport Express settings.
