The step to step guide on how to SetUp TP Link AC1750 WiFi Range Extender and boost a Host network.

  • Place and plug the extender closer to the router and wait until the power LED changes to solid blue.
  • To connect to the host network, there are 2 ways:
  1. Through WPS Button
  2. Through a web browser

The simplest way to extend the network is through WPS button if your router has one.

Procedure one: Through the WPS Button

  1.   Press on the WPS Button on your router and press RE Button on the extender within 2 minutes.
  2.   Wait till the RE LED changes from blinking to solid status, indicating that the WPS connection is successful.
  3.   If the extender is connected to a dual band router yet only 2.4GHz or 5GHz LED is on, then repeat the step 1 and step 2 to connect to the other band.
  4.   Try connecting to the extended network. Both the extended networks share the same SSID’s and passwords as that of your network.

Procedure Two: Through a Web Browser

  • Try connecting your network to the extender’s wireless network. But before that search for SSID mentioned on the extender.

For Window Users

  1.  Unplug the Ethernet cable from the computer.
  2.   Click on the wireless internet connection icon on taskbar.
