Hello, Please let me know that how to Setup WiFi on the TP-Link Archer C7. I am not able to setup wifi on TP link router. Help me.

Setup WiFi on the TP-Link Archer C7:

The TP-Link Archer C7 router is a Wi-Fi router as it allows you to connect wirelessly. Wireless router enables an individual to connect several devices at once to the router like smartphones, smart televisions, and wireless printers.

Wi-Fi Terms-

Before you move forward with the process of setting up TP-Link Archer C7, there are certain background details that you must know.

Name of the Wireless Network-

Your Wi-Fi network needs to have a unique name so that you can identify it from other wireless networks.

Password of the Wireless Network-

You also need to secure your wireless network. To secure it, you need to set a strong password.

Wireless Channel-

Selecting a channel of Wi-Fi is not an easy thing to do. It is recommended to get some knowledge about Wi-Fi channels before you pick a channel.

Encryprion-

As far as it is concerned about network encryption, WPA2 is the perfect choice. In case you are not sure about it, then you need to go through WPA guide.

How to Log in to the TP-Link Archer C7-

To begin with the process of configuring wireless settings of TP-Link Archer C7, you will first have to log into the router. In case you have already logged in, then you can miss this step.

Locate the Wi-Fi Settings on TP-Link Archer C7-

Once you follow the login guide, a screen will appear before you. The setup guide is given on the Home page of the TP-Link Archer C7. Select the link which is given on the sidebar in the left named Dual Band selection.

How to Modify the Wireless Settings of TP-Link Archer C7?

One setting on the page is choosing the bandwidth that you can choose to send on. If you will search on the right side of the page, you will be able to locate the advantages and disadvantages of 5 GHZ. Therefore, it is recommended to select the option of work in 2.4 GHZ.

After you are done with your choice, select the button of save. Then, go to the keft side bar and select the wireless band that you selected in the previous page. After that, select the option of Wireless 2.4GHz. Then, go to Wireless Settings after that option.

After this, you will reach the wireless settings help page. There you will be required to change the name of the wireless network. The network name you create can be anything but make sure that the name does not consist of any personal details.

Another setting that can be changed over here is the channel setting. Please ensure that the channels you are using are either 11, 6, or 1. Click on the button of Save for saving the changes. After that, go to Wireless security, which is given under the heading of Wireless 2.4 GHz.

From there, go to the version drop-down list and select WPA2. Finally, in the end you need to set encryption to AES. After that, change the PSK password. This is the password of your wireless network and it needs to be strong enough.

It is recommended that the password should have a minimum of 14 characters and a maximum of 20 characters. To make it even stronger, try avoiding words and add capital letters, numbers, and symbols. Nothing else is required to be changed. Just click on the button of save and then you are done.
