Do you want to learn how to configure address reservations on TP-Link routers? If yes, then here you will read the steps that you need to perform in order to configure address reservations on TP-Link routers.
If you specify a reserved IP address in a local area network, then it will receive the same IP address when you connect it to the DHCP server.
Step 1: Go to the web interface of Archer C9.
Step 2: After that, you need to select Advanced, Network, DHCP Server, and then finally Address Reservation. Here we are going to explain the situation to you.
Step 1: Select the button of Add.
Step 2: After that, you need to enter the Mac address of your device for which you wish to reserve the IP address.
Step 3: Now, mention the IP address that you want to reserve. Please make sure that the IP address is on the same subnet with your LAN IP.
Also, it can't be a reserved IP. If your default IP address is 192.168.0.1, then the IP address you reserve can be from 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.254.
Step 4: Tick the option of Enable This Entry and then select Ok to save the changes.
Step 5: Now, select the button of Reboot given at the upper right corner. This will bring all the settings into effect.
