If you specify a reserved IP address in a local area network, then it will receive the same IP address when you connect it to the DHCP server.

Below are the Simple Steps that You Need to Follow to Configure Address Reservations on Your Router Device. 

Step 1: Go to the web interface of Archer C9. 

Step 2: After that, you need to select Advanced, Network, DHCP Server, and then finally Address Reservation. Here we are going to explain the situation to you.

Step 1: Select the button of Add

Step 2: After that, you need to enter the Mac address of your device for which you wish to reserve the IP address. 

Step 3: Now, mention the IP address that you want to reserve. Please make sure that the IP address is on the same subnet with your LAN IP.

Also, it can't be a reserved IP. If your default IP address is 192.168.0.1, then the IP address you reserve can be from 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.254. 

Step 4: Tick the option of Enable This Entry and then select Ok to save the changes. 

Step 5: Now, select the button of Reboot given at the upper right corner. This will bring all the settings into effect.
