Set up a TP-Link Deco WiFi System:

Step 1: Install the App on Your Phone

For using the app, you must have a TP-Link account. You can either create a new account or log in with an account that you already have. 

Step 2: Connect the Base Station

Firstly, you need to power off your modem and then search for the fuse box. Please ensure that you have the Deco base station in hand. Connect your modem to the TP-link Deco Wi-Fi system using a network cable.

After that, connect your Deco station to the wall outlet and then power on your modem. You will see a yellow light on your Deco. After that, you must wait for the color to change to blue. 

Step 3: Set up the Base Station Using the App 

In the next step to set up TP-Link Deco Wi-Fi system, open the Deco app and then select Next. After that, you need to select the location of your Deco network's station. Select Next and then you need to enter the name and password of your Wi-Fi network in another window.

Note down this information so you can remember it. Then, select Next one more time and then the base station of your TP-Link Deco Wi-Fi system will get installed. After that, the color of the light will change to green. 

Step 4: Add a Station to your Deco System

Keep the second Deco station in any location you want and then connect the connector to the power source. Once the light changes to blue, you need to select the option of "Add another Deco" in your app. Indicate the position where you kept the station and then select Next.

After that, the light will change to green when the satellite gets connected to the main station. If your Deco satellite is not receiving a wireless connection, then you must keep it close to the main station. These routers don't need a wireless network connection. 

Step 5: Try Connecting to Your new WiFi Network 

Once you are done installing the mesh Wi-Fi system, you must connect to a new network. Set up your mobile device and laptop in your newly created network. Step 6: Other Options in your Deco App 

Now, you can see the stations that are online on the main screen of your TP-Link Deco app. You can also check the speed of your network connection. G to the 3 lines options and ensure that all the devices in your network are protected from malware and viruses.

This will allow you to set up a guest network under Wi-Fi. This will help your friends access the wireless network easily.
