Step 1: Head to the official website of Optimum, is http://router.optimum.net/ and fill out the details as asked.
Step 2: Lookup for your wifi and the password can be found under the option of ‘basic settings’.
Step 3: Rename it however you like and remember to save it.
Step 4: Click on the edit button to change the password and enter a new one to Change Optimum WIFI Password.
Step 5: Save the settings and remember to save it before exiting the website.
Step 6: With this, your password will be changed. You disconnect and re-connect to see that the password is working.
