Hello, folks I was using a router provided by my ISP for over a month along with the iiNet connection and modem. I noticed the router was not upto the mark and that is why I bought the TP-Link TL-MR3220 recently. The problem here is I connected it to my modem as the old router was connected, same colored wire combination but the router did not respond. Can anyone tell me if I did something wrong or the router is at fault?
Step 1: Connect the 4G Modem to the USB port at the back of the TP-Link TL-MR3220 Router.
Step 2: Open an internet browser page and enter: 192.168.1.1 into the address bar.
Step 3: You will then be prompted for a Username and Password. Enter the following:
Step 4: Select Quick Start on the left hand side followed by the Next button.
Step 5: Select 3G Only followed by the Next button.
Step 6: Choose to set the Dial number and APN manually and enter the settings as shown in the figure below.
Step 7: Choose the appropriate wireless settings for your network. WPA-PSK/WPA2-PSK is recommended.
Step 8: The router is now configured you will need to reboot the device to complete the process. To do this press the reboot button on the screen.
