How To Setup TP Link Router Without Cd?

How can I setup my TP-Link router without CD which I just purchased to act as an access point? I'll be connecting it to a main router which is connected to the ISP.

How to Install TP Link without CD -

Step 1 : Set up the TP-Link router with your modem and connect router to the PC.

Step 2 : Open CMD type "ipconfig" hit enter.

Step 3 : Get Default Gateway IP type it in a web browser hit enter (e.g.

Step 4 : Default usernam: admin password: admin hit OK. If they don't work you'll have to reset the router from the back pinhole.

Step 5 : Find wireless settings and security setting and secure the network.

Step 6 : Select WPA-PSK and set a pssword.

Setup TP Link Router Without Cd:

You can install the router the way every TP-Link router should be installed without the CD . . .

Plug a cable from your computer to a LAN port of your router not the internet WAN..

Then look under your router for the IP information and type that in a browser (internet explorer firefox etc..)

Enter the default user name and password that might be written on the router also..

And from there you have to configure it yourself there might be some sort of TP-Link setup wizard to help in there..

How to Setup Tp-link Wireless Router-

if you have a Cable Provider and you have a Router and you would like to setup with your internet connection .

Here are few very simple steps to Go with –
  1. First Connect the internet cable which came from internet service Provider (Cable coming from wall ) to Tp-link router .
  2. Now Connect the computer with Tp-link router using a Ethernet cable.
  3. Please Open the Internet Browser like Google chrome , Firefox or internet explorer.
  4. On the Very Top of your Internet browser Please type to access the Tp-link router configuration page.
  5. Now you can enable your wireless and follow the instruction setup the router.
  6. Please setup SSID (network name ) And the network key (password) as you wish.
