How to Download the ReadySHARE Printer Utility?

Download ReadySHARE Printer Utility (NETGEAR USB Control Center) from the NETGEAR Download Center at https://www.netgear.com/support/download/. Simply type ReadySHARE in the product search field based on your OS requirement. You will get a user manual along with the download. Here you have three options to choose from:

• PC installer: You can use this utility for Windows-based computers.

How to Install the Readyshare Printer?

Note: Some installed firewall software like Comodo blocks the NETGEAR USB Control Center from accessing the USB printer services. So if you do not see any printer options on your screen, disable the firewall temporarily to allow the ReadySHARE Printer Utility to function properly.

Once the printer is connected, the printer status is changed to Manually connected by MyComputer which means that only your computer can use the printer.

If you Click Disconnect, the status changes to Available which means that all other computers on the network can use the READYSHARE printer.

Step 5 : Click System > Exit, to exit the utility window.
