Step 1: Download the Eero App on Your Android or iOS Smartphone

 First of all, you are required to download the Eero app on your smartphone. For this, you need to launch the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. One cannot set up an eero router by opening the internet browser.

Step 2: Make an Account on Eero

You need to create an eero account in order to set up a new network. You will be required to enter your email address and phone number. You will receive a verification code at your email address.

You can also select the option of text for this purpose. Enter the verification code for creating an account.

Step 3: Set up the Gateway

It is vital to create a gateway for establishing a network. The app will help you with the process to set up the gateway.

Below are the steps that you need to perform to set up the gateway.

• First of all, disconnect your modem from the electrical outlet. In case any wireless device is connected to your modem, then you must disconnect it too.
• After that, connect the Gateway eero device to your modem with the help of the Ethernet wire that came along with the router. Connect it to any of the ethernet ports.
• Connect the Gateway eero device to an electrical outlet and then reconnect your modem to the wall outlet. The status light of your eero device will begin to blink.

Step 4: Create an Eero Network

Step 5: Add Eeros to the Network

When you are done setting up your gateway eero and creating a new network, you can go on with adding more Eeros to the network. Any eero device can get added to the network. Below are the things that you must keep in mind before you add Eeros to the network.

• Keep your eero device in a central position
• Please ensure that the device is kept out in open
• Keep it distant from electronic devices.

Step 6: Connect Devices to the Network

In the last step, you need to connect all the devices to the network. Now, search for the eero network on your device and then enter the password that you created for the network.

After that, you will get connected to the network. In case you are using the same name of the network and password as your old router, then your devices will get reconnected automatically.
