1. Disable HBO Max
You would have to cancel HBO Max separately if you received it as part of your Optimum plan. You will still be charged for it even if you terminate the Optimum subscription.
2. Return Rented Property
Following the cancellation, all Optimum equipment you had leased needs to be returned. After the cancellation date, you have 30 days to return the gadgets. You will be charged for the items if you don't return them in the allotted period, which might cost up to $100 for a single piece of equipment.
Returning the Rented Equipment:
As per the typical billing cycle, you will receive the final bill. Even if you cancel in the middle, you could be charged the entire monthly amount because Optimum does not prorate payments.
