1) Disable the Feature of the Smart Network Switch

The Smart Network function on your Android device is a prevalent function. This function will enable you to switch between Wi-Fi networks and mobile devices. The phone identifies the stronger network and switches between Wi-Fi and mobile data.

This is a great option as it occasionally connects the internet to the mobile network even when there is a Wi-Fi connection.

To disable the Smart network switch below are the steps that you need to follow.

  • On your Android smartphone, go to the option of "Network and Internet Settings".
  • After that, select Wi-Fi and then search for additional settings.
  • If you see Smart Network Switch, then disable it.
  • When you disable this function, you will have complete control over your network choices and you won't have any problem in connecting to Wi-Fi.

2) Restart Your Router

Before you start with the process, you need to first navigate to the network settings and then search for the faulty Wi-Fi in the settings. After you find it, select the button of "Forget the Network". After that, disconnect your phone from the network connection.

Reconnecting to the network is only possible when you forget the network. After that, enter the password and then reconnect. The connectivity issue will get fixed in a few minutes.
