By using the username or password, sign in to the settings page of the router.

Step 2: Open the wireless window for editing the wireless settings. Once you have reached there, the process to the "Basic" (or equivalent) tab if you are not located on the proper page.

Step 3: Alter the 802.11 bands from 2.4 GHz to 5GHz.

Step 4: Select Apply.
