Troubleshoot routerlogin.net and routerlogin.com Access Errors:

There can be several reasons responsible for why you are not able to access the admin page of your Netgear router. Two of the major issues that lead to this issue are IP address and cache.

To be able to access the login page of your Netgear router stated below are the steps that you are required to follow (routerlogin.net).

Step 1: First, you need to make sure that you are using a correct web address, password, and username.

  • Web address: www.routerlogin.net
  • User Name: admin
  • Password: password

Step 2: If you come across any error after entering the web address, try clearing the cache of your internet browser.

  • Apple Safari
  • Internet Explorer
  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox

Note: Using some other internet browser may also help you fix the access issue.

Step 3: Another way to fix this problem is to use the IP address to login rather than entering the web address routerlogin.net. If the IP address 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 does not work on any tablet, smartphone, or computer or search for the IP address without using command prompt.

Step 4: If you are still not able to reach the admin page of the router, then try to access it by using some other methods like wired ethernet connection or try to access it with some other device that is desktop, laptop, tablet, and phone.

Please make sure that you are using Netgear router internet connection in order to access the login page of your Netgear router. A wired connection is the perfect way to make sure that you are accessing the router.

Step 5: In case you are connected to several networks simultaneously such as corporate connection, VPN, wired and wireless networks. Disconnect from VPN and internet connections and just connect to your Netgear router.

Step 6: Turn off the ad blocking software, firewalls, and pop up blockers and check if any of these are causing access issues to the router login password and username pop-up.

Step 7: Power cycle your modem, router, and connected devices (including tablets, phones, laptops, desktops etc).

  • Let your Netgear router and cable modem remain turned off for at least 10 seconds prior to restarting the network.

Step 8: If none of the steps mentioned above help you fix the problem of not being able to access the router login page.

Step 9: After performing the factory reset on your router, log into your router by entering the information that is given in the first step.

  • After logging in, select Advanced.
  • Below the router information, please make sure that the router IP Address is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1.

Step 10: To prevent any login issues that can further come up, please make sure that the firmware of your router is updated.

  • Go to Advanced, Router Update, and then check.
  • Once you are done with finding the firmware of your router. Select Yes to update the firmware of your router.
