Hello, Please let me know that how to setup Asus rt-ac66u router. I bought this Asus rt-ac66u router but don't know how to resolve it. Help me in this problem.

Setup Asus RT-AC66u Router:

If you are interested in knowing how you can setup Asus rt-ac66u router, then below are some of the steps that you need to follow.

Step 1 : Attach the antennas in the right position, so that you can receive signal in every area of your house.

Step 2 : Connect your router to the power source.

Step 3 : In case you are receiving an internet through fibre optic box, cable modem, or DSL modem. Insert one end of your ethernet cable in the internet port of your modem and connect the other end to the ethernet port of your router.

Step 4 : Select the Wi-Fi icon that is present at the bottom right side on your Windows computer.

Step 5 : Now in the next step to setup asus rt-ac66u router, you will be asked to link it to ASUS_5G or ASUS. You can connect to any of these options.

Step 6 : Open the access page of your internet router. Enter 192.168.1.1 in the location bar and then the setup page of your router will open up.

Step 15 : Now, look for the latest version of firmware for upgradation.

Step 16 : After that, the window will pop up on the screen asking you for the firmware upgradation. Click on OK.

Step 17 : Once you select OK, the firmware will start downloading.

Step 18 : After that, software installation will start. Wait for it to get completed.

Step 19 : Once the installation process is over, you need to reboot the router.

Step 20 : Turn your router on and off. The rebooting can take a few minutes to complete.

Step 21 : Now, select your router from the available choices appearing in front of you.

Step 22 : Go back to the login page of your router and enter the login IP and password.

Step 23 : Click on the tab of firmware upgrade and confirm that your firmware upgradation is complete by clicking on check.
