The wireless-protected setup helps you establish a wireless connection with devices. There are two different methods through which you can configure WPS on an ASUS RT-AC68U wireless router. The first one is by clicking the WPS button, and the second one is by the client's WPS process.
For the configuration, you first need to access the router's interface, enable the WPS, and connect the devices with WPS's help. If you come across any problem with the WPS, then you can troubleshoot the problem by updating the firmware and resetting the router to its factory default settings.
WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) may be a wireless security standard that permits you to simply connect devices to a wireless network. you'll configure the WPS function via the PIN code or WPS button.
WPS helps authentication using Open System, WPA-Personal, and WPA2-Personal. WPS doesn't support a wireless network that uses a Shared Key, WPA-Enterprise, WPA2-Enterprise, and RADIUS encryption method.
