Setup Tp Link N300 WiFi Range Extender TL-WA855RE:

Here in this post, you are going to learn how to set up a TP-Link N300 Wi-Fi range extender using the WPS button. So, here are the steps that you need to follow to complete the configuration process.

How to Setup a TP-Link WiFi Range Extender Using a WPS Button-

Below are the steps that you need to perform to configure your TP-Link range extender using the WPS button.

Step 1: Connect your range extender to the power source and close to the main router.

Step 2: Press the WPS button on your main router and then press the WPS button on your wireless repeater. Once you have pushed the WPS button on your access point, then you need to push the WPS button on your range extender within the next 60 seconds.

Therefore, it is recommended to push the WPS button on the repeater immediately after pushing the button on your router.

Note: Make sure the LED light blinks after you press the WPS button on your router. In case the LED light does not blink, then you will have to push the WPS button again till you see the light blinking. you need to do the same thing with your wireless repeater.

After you push the WPS button on your wireless extender, the WPS light of your wireless repeater should start blinking. In case it doesn't, then push the button again.

Step 3: The WPS process is not going to take more than 2 minutes. Then, you are required to check the wireless signal on your wireless extender. In case it is on, then that means your wireless repeater is successfully connected to your access point.

Step 4: In case the wireless LED  of your range extender is off even after 2 minutes, then that means the process has failed. In such a case, you will have to repeat all the steps mentioned above.

Step 5: In the end, you will be required to keep a wireless extender where you wish to extend the coverage of the network. Once the connection is established, you will not be required to repeat the process again.
