How to Setup WiFi on an Asus RT-N12 Wireless Router

Being one of the leading brands for network accessories, Asus offers wireless router support for up to 2.4GHz signal along with 300Mbps wireless speed.

Suppose you consider setting up WiFi on an Asus RT- N12 Wireless Router. In that case, you need to follow the following instructions: use the power adapter to connect the Asus router to the power source, then with the given ethernet cable, plug into one of the LAN ports of the router and the other to the computer’s ethernet port.

Connect the WAN Port to the modem device and plug in your power adapter with some power source. Then, press and hold the reset button for 10-20 seconds, launch any web browser, enter the default URL, open the admin panel, and log in using username and password.

Reset Default Settings:

Reset hardware settings: Simply push the Reset button on your router device for at least 6 seconds. Your router device is automatically restarted and default settings are restored.

Reset software configurations: Resetting software settings means that you can restore the factory settings with the installed software. For this, you have to login into the user interface with the present login data.
