Hello, Please let me know about how to hard reset my ASUS router. Now i am facing some issue with my Asus router so i want to reset my asus router. Give me any idea.

Hard Reset ASUS Router:

 

Step 1: Keep Pressing & Holding the Reset Button While the Router is Still Switched On.

Utilize a pin or sharp-pointed pen for pressing and holding on the reset button for around 10-15 seconds. The power indicator should begin to glow upon effective reset.

Step 2: Establish Connection of Your Device to the Wireless Name "ASUS" & Manage the Network

After attaining connection, you will be guided to router setup page. If you do not visualize the page, you can simply go to http://192.168.1.1 utilizing your PC internet browser.

The default username is "admin" and the default password is "admin" if propelled to login
Select "Go" button present at the bottom of the page to begin the installation.

Step 3: New Password

You will be enquired to set a new router administrator password. It is suggested to type in in the default password - "admin". Select the wireless icon present on your device to link to the latest wireless name (SSID) and type in the network key (password) set before.   • Enter admin in both the username and password section.

Step 3: New Password

  • Now, you are required to set a new password. It is advisable to change the password as anyone can login by entering the default password.
  • If you want to set a new password, then one thing that you need to keep in mind is that if you ever forget the password, then the only way left for you to access the admin page is to hard reset your router.
  • Select Next to go ahead with the setup process.

Step 4: New Wireless Setting

  • Go to the main page of the wireless setting, enter the network name and password, which you need for both 5 Ghz and 2.4 Ghz.
  • Do not keep the same network name in case of both 5 Ghz and 2.4 Ghz. Nevertheless, you can keep the same password for the both.

Step 5: Try to Connect Your Device to the New Network Settings

  • Select the wireless icon on your router to connect to the network name and enter the new password.
  • When you get connected to the network, then you can access the internet.
