Install the ASUS Extender App:

If you want to better control the Asus RP-AC55, then you need to install the Asus extender app. Before you start with the installation process, you need to keep your tab or smartphone closeby. Also, you should know the name and password of your wireless network. Below are the steps that you need to follow to install the Asus extender app.

1) Choose Your Operating System

To move forward, you must know the operating system of your mobile phone or tab. The two main OS for smartphones and tabs are iOS and Android. We are going to explain the installation process of the Asus extender app on iPhone. So, all iPhone users must choose iOS.

2) Install

• The first thing that you need to do is to launch the App Store.

• After that, click on Search that is given at the bottom right corner of the screen.

• Enter Asus Extender and then choose the Get for Asus Extender out of the list appearing before you.

• Tap on getting for Asus Extender.

3) Connect to Wi-Fi

• Launch Settings.

• Tap the option of Wi-Fi.

• Now, choose the option of ASUS_RPASS.

4) Perform the Setup Using Your Asus Extender App

Step 1: Launch the Asus extender app in case you have not opened it.

Step 2: When you will run the app for the first time, it is going to ask you to accept the ASUS terms of use and Privacy Policy. Once you are done reading all the documents, tap on Accept to continue.

Step 3: Go to the welcome screen and then choose Setup Extender.

Step 4: The app will check whether you are on the Wi-Fi connection of the extender or not. Tap on the arrow to move ahead with the process.

Step 5: After that, you will be asked to choose the place where you are going to keep your extender. This will help you in identifying your extender if you decide to add another extender to your house. Select the room where you would like to keep your extender.

Step 6: The extender is going to choose the home network, which is sent to it by your router. It uses the settings and signal strength saved on your tab or smartphone for making the guess.

Step 7: The app is going to assign the name to your wireless network, which is provided by the range extender. Tap on Next to continue.

Step 8: Your Asus range extender is all setup now.
