You can connect the Velop nodes just by using the wireless extenders. If you wire the nodes together, then that can help you in increasing the speed and range of your Velop system. It also minimizes the chances of wireless interference.

You may have to set up additional nodes if you wish to use a wireless connection. Once you are done with the setup, connect to the nodes by making use of ethernet cables. Then, the nodes will automatically start using a wired connection.

Step 1: To setup linksys velop router use the Linksys application for setting up the primary node.

Step 2: A secondary node can be added through the wireless setup on the Linksys application.

Step 3: Once you have completed the setup, shift the position of the secondary node and then connect it to a power source.
