How to Setup Linksys EA6100 Router

Setup LINKSYS EA6100 Router:

Linksys Smart Setup Wizard has made it easier to setup LINKSYS EA6100 router. You can easily setup LINKSYS EA6100 router even without the internet as the LINKSKS router is embedded with LINKSYS smart set up wizard.

All you will need is a wireless connection with Linksys router and a device that is capable of wifi connection. Linksys wireless router comes link smart setup and because of this reason, you will not need any installation CD or software to setup LINKSYS EA6100 router.

You don’t need to use the CD that comes with the device as it only contains the router’s documentation.

Steps to Setup Linksys EA6100 Router:

Mentioned below are the steps to setup Linksys EA6100 router. Just follow this instruction and your job will be done:

Step 1: to set up the router you will need the latest web browser on your PC and two ethernet cables.

Step 2: Plug in the router to the nearby power outlet after connecting your link router with the external antennas. Now you will switch on your Linksys wireless router.

Step 3: Now use the ethernet cable to connect your Linksys router with the modem. Plugin one end of the cable in the internet port of the router and other in the modem.

Step 4: Open your latest version of the web browser and type the default IP address in the address bar. Then select GO to proceed.

Step 5: Type the login credentials when the routers ask for it and you will be logged in to Linksys router setup wizard.

Step 6: Accept the terms and conditions by checking the  “I have read and accepted the License Terms for using this software” box and then click next.

Step 7: your internet service provider must have gives=n you a PPoE. Enter it now.

Step 8: Click Next after checking for any new update.

Step 9: Now you will have to set the name of the network (SSID) and network key and then you can save the settings.

Step 10: Now a Create an account window will open through which you can access your Linksys router easily.

If you have followed the procedure correctly then your Linksys ea6100 setup is complete. But in case you faced any kind of trouble while you were configuring Llinksys ea6100 router you can simply reset your router by long-pressing the reset button.
