Step 2: Enter www.routerlogin.net in the location bar of your browser and then a window will open up.

Step 3: Enter the username and password of your router. Type admin in the username section and password in the password section.

This advertisement period states frequency is which the UPnP information is broadcasted by the router. The value lies within a range of 1 minute to 1440 minutes. Although the set default time is 30 minutes.

With a small duration, control points get the status of the present device with more traffic. It can negatively impact the freshness of the device's status.

    Live for Advertisement is Measured in Hops.

Change the advertisement time to live in hops for every packet of UPnP you send. Hops are steps taken by packets between routers. The hops range between 1 to 255. Its default value is 4 hops, which is ok for almost every home network. In case you find that some devices are not reached correctly or being updated, then you must increase the value of hops.

Step 6: Select the button of Apply.

The table of UPnP portmap shows the IP address of every UPnP device that is accessing the router and the ports that the device has opened. It also shows the type of ports, which are open.

It also tells you whether the opened ports are active for every IP address or not. Click on the refresh icon to refresh the information displayed in the UPnP table.
