Why NETGEAR Router Shows Internet Access but Unable to Access Anything

I have a Netgear N750 Dualband Gigabit router. Earlier, it was working absolutely fine but suddenly I can't connect to anything. My Skype contacts are not loading properly. But when I switch to the Comcast modem, it loads them all. Sometimes router shows its loading a web page but never does, and then sometimes it doesn't even do that. Please help me.

Connect Netgear Router to Internet:

The Internet is the basic need nowadays. Without Internet access, we can’t do anything. The Internet is the only thing by which we can make our work easier. Problems occur if we have internet access issue. Web browsers are unable to access the web page.

So, it will be better if you are using the wireless network. It reduces the chances of internet access issue and for the web browsers, it will not show unable to access the web page.

You need to connect wireless devices such as laptops, smartphones, tablets to preset wireless settings of your Netgear wireless router for the configuration of the device to access internet connection.

Here are Some Steps Showing the Installation of Netgear Wireless Router Using Your Wireless Device.

  • Ethernet cable should be connected from your DSL or cable modem to the internet port of your Netgear router.
  • Switch to your DSL or cable modem and wait till the lights to become solid.
  • After switching on Netgear router LED will become stable.
  • Open the preset wireless settings in Netgear router which is written on the back of the device.
  • Open the WiFi connection manager in your wireless device to find the SSID or Wifi network name of your Netgear router.

  • After connecting to SSID enter the passphrase.

  • Open your internet browser such as Google Chrome, Safari, Mozilla Firefox.
  • There will appear Netgear Genie, if it doesn’t then go to address bar then type or
  • Enter the default username and password that is admin and password and click on it.
  • To configure the device follow the Netgear Genie.
  • Enter the passphrase to connect SSID

Your internet access issue is removed.
