Unlock Your Linksys Router:

If you wish to configure your Linksys router that is connected to your business network, then you are required to open the web interface. This web interface is protected by a password. Therefore, you need to use the right username and password to log in to it.

In case you are configuring a custom username and password and forgot them, then your router will stay locked until you remove the password. If you are unaware of the username and password, then you must reset your Linksys router.

Below are the steps that you need to follow to unlock your Linksys router by resetting it.

Step 1: Search for the Reset button at the back or the side of your Linksys router. Usually, this button is a small pinhole.

Step 2: Take a straightened paperclip and insert it in the pinhole. After that, hold the reset button for the next 10 seconds in order to reset your Linksys router. If you are using old router models, then you need to press this button for 30 seconds to complete the process of resetting.

Step 3: Open your web browser and then enter 192.168.1.1 in the address bar of your browser in order to open the web interface of your Linksys router.

Step 4: Log in to your router by entering the default username and password. After that, reconfigure your router. Please keep in mind that some routers have admin as both usernames as well as passwords.

Other routers use Comcast or administrator as the username and 1234 as the password. Some Linksys routers don't have a password by default. In case you don't know the username and password, then take a look at the manual that came along with the router.

So, these are all the steps that you need to perform to unlock your Linksys router.
