I am trying to forward the port 80 on my Dlink router. I have been trying to forward it for using SET(Social engineering toolkit). Whenever access my IP address, after forwarding, it brings me back to the router page. But when I access the device address (192.168.1.33 in this case), I can see the page loading correctly(only to the devices connected to the routers though). Please help me how can I forward port in Dlink router.
Step 1 : It is important to setup a static ip address in the device that you are forwarding a port to. This ensures that your ports will remain open even after your device reboots.
Recommended - Our free program will setup a static IP address for you. Download Network Utilities today! Or follow our Static IP Address guide to setup a static IP address. Write this static IP address down, you will be needing it in Step 4.
Step 2 : To login to the D-Link DSL-2750U router you need to use a web browser. It doesn't matter which browser you decide to use, we recommend picking one you are the most comfortable using such as Chrome, Internet Explorer, Firefox, or Edge.
Open the web browser up and find the address bar. This is normally at the top of the page like this:
Do you see the address bar in the image above? It has 192.168.1.1 in it. To access your router simply enter the router's IP address in this bar. Sometimes the router's IP address is called the router's GUI address or the router's default gateway.
The default D-Link DSL-2750U router IP address is: 192.168.1.1 If you have changed the router's IP address in the past then enter that IP address in the address bar. If you don't remember what you changed it to or the above default address did not work, you need to find out what you changed it to.
We recommend following the directions on this How To Find Your Router's IP Address page. After entering the correct IP address into the address bar, click the Enter key on your keyboard. This should give you an authentication page or box like this:
Do you see a box for a username and a box for a password? Simply enter the username and password and press Enter or the Login button.
A. The Default D-Link DSL-2750U Router Username is: admin
B. The Default D-Link DSL-2750U Router Password is: admin
Step 3 : Now we need to find the d link router port forwarding section of your D-Link DSL-2750U router. Here's how you do it. Starting from the first page in your router:
First, click the Advanced option at the top of the page. Now take a look at the left sidebar. Click the new option of Port Forwarding.
You are now on the port forwarding page of the router interface. Click the option of Add in the center section of the page.
Now you are ready to enter the port forwarding data into your router.
Step 4 : In this step show you what data to enter in the router so you will get the ports forwarded you want. To show you what data to enter we need you to answer two questions:
IP Address :
(Remember the static IP address you created in Step one? Enter that address into the box above.) This next section we call our Router Simulator. Based on how you answered the above two questions it shows you exactly what to enter in your router.
Right now we are showing the ports for Xbox Live Xbox One. If this is correct, just enter the information you see in the box or boxes below into your router.
Open your web browser and enter https://dlinkrouter or https://dlinkrouter.local or https://192.168.0.1 into the address bar. The default username is Admin and the password is blank (nothing). Click Login. Now click the Advanced tab on top and then click dsl-2750u Port Forwarding on the left side.
Check the box beside the rule to enable the rule. For pre-defined applications, use the Application Name dropdown list and click on the arrow button next to the dropdown list to auto-fill the appropriate field. For non-pre-defined applications, please enter the desired port.
Select the computer or device from the list of DHCP clients in the Computer Name dropdown list or manually enter the IP address of the device you want to open the specified port for. Click on Save Settings when finished.
