Connect your Nintendo Wii to the Internet:

Do you want to know how to connect Nintendo Wii to the internet? If yes, then take a look at the steps given below. When you connect your Nintendo Wii to the internet, you are able to play games with other players on the internet. Moreover, you can access online services like Nintendo eShop. Before you start with the process, below are some things that you need to do.

Please make sure that SSID broadcast is enabled. Plus, check that your router is connected to the internet. You should also know the password of your wireless network.

Another thing that you need to do is to check the network mode of your router device. Keep in mind that your Nintendo Wii is only compatible with wireless B or Mixed G or B networks.

Steps to Connect Your Nintendo Wii to the Wireless Network

Step 1: Go to the Wii menu and then select the Wii icon. Use the remote control to open the menu and settings

Step 2: Choose Wii settings

Step 3: Use the right arrow to select the internet button

Step 4: Choose the option of Connection Settings

Step 5: Now, choose empty connections if there are any. If you find that all the connections are full, then choose any used connection and select the option of "Clear Settings". Then, select "Yes".

Step 6: Choose Wireless Connection and then select the option of Search for an access point.

Step 7: Select the name of your wireless network from the list appearing before you. If your network has password security, then enter the password and select Ok

Step 8: Now, save the settings and then select Yes. After that, a connection test will be performed by Wii. Once the connection test is successful, then your Wii will get connected to the internet.

In case you are not able to connect your Wii to the internet, then check the network connection, network name, and password.
