How to Connect Your Nintendo Wii to the Internet

Please let me know that how to connect your Nintendo Wii to the internet. I am facing some issues while doing this. If you know then help me.

By connecting Nintendo Wii to the internet you are able to play games with other players on the internet. You can also access online services like Nintendo eShop.

But if you are not connected to the internet and want to connect Nintendo Wii to the internet then keep in mind that your SSID broadcast is enabled and your router is connected to the internet and you should have the password of your wireless network.

Now you can come to steps to follow like select the Wii icon and open the menu and settings by using remote and select the internet button on Wii settings.

Choose wireless connection on connection settings now enter username and password and save all the settings. And if the connection test is successful then you can connect the internet to Nintendo Wii.

Steps to Connect Your Nintendo Wii to the Wireless Network

Step 1: Go to the Wii menu and then select the Wii icon. Use the remote control to open the menu and settings

Step 2: Choose Wii settings

Step 3: Use the right arrow to select the internet button

Step 4: Choose the option of Connection Settings

Step 5: Now, choose empty connections if there are any. If you find that all the connections are full, then choose any used connection and select the option of "Clear Settings". Then, select "Yes". 

Step 6: Choose Wireless Connection and then select the option of Search for an access point. 

Step 7: Select the name of your wireless network from the list appearing before you. If your network has password security, then enter the password and select Ok

Step 8: Now, save the settings and then select Yes. After that, a connection test will be performed by Wii. Once the connection test is successful, then your Wii will get connected to the internet. 

In case you are not able to connect your Wii to the internet, then check the network connection, network name, and password.
