1) Use Netgear Installation Assistant

Follow the steps mentioned below in order to set up Netgear EX 7300 extender using Netgear installation assistant.

Step 1: First of all, power on your Netgear extender.

Step 2: Keep the extender close to your wireless router.

Step 3: Then, connect your extender to the power source.

Step 4: Wait for the power LED light to glow. In case the power LED light does not glow, then press the power button.

Step 5: After that, you are required to connect your router to the extender.

Step 6: Open your internet browser on your PC or mobile device and then type www.mywifi.ext.net in the address bar.

Step 7: Now, the Netgear installation assistant will open up.

Step 8: Carry out the prompts appearing on the screen to connect your Netgear EX7300 extender to the wireless network.

Step 9: Now, place your extender in a different location.

Step 10: If there is a bad connection or no connection, then keep your extender close to the router device.

2) Use the WPS Push Button

Step 1: First of all, turn on your Netgear extender.

Step 2: After that, keep your router and extender in the same room.

Step 3: When you are done, connect the extender to the power source.

Step 4: Wait for the power LED light to change to light green.

Step 5: On your wireless extender, press the WPS button.

Step 6: If you see the white light on your Netgear extender, then that means there is a good connection between your extender and router.

Step 7: Now, keep your extender in a different location.
