Fix MAC Not Connecting to WiFi:

If the web browser, email program or any other internet related app on your mac has suddenly stopped working then you might face a bit of issue but don’t worry we will try different troubleshooting techniques for Internet Connection Resolve.

Follow the Steps Below Which will Guide You in Resetting Wifi on Mac:

Restart Mac: First switch off your Mac and restart it in few minutes and see if the problem still persist. As most of the time, it has been noticed that following this simple step can resolve most of the Internet-related issues.

Network Diagnostics: If your Internet connection is not resolved even then, run Network Diagnostics.

Go to Apple Menu > System Preference and then click on the “Network”. Now click on “Assist Me” and then on “Diagnosis”.

The Network Utility will guide you to a number of different set of questions like “Check your Ethernet connection” or “Check your Network

Configuration”, so follow the instructions on your utility and try to check everything.

Check Wifi connectivity: If your Mac is connected to the internet via Wifi then check the Wifi menu at the right top corner to make sure you are connected to the right network.

Reset Wifi: If the connectivity issue persists make sure to reset Wifi, i.e press the “Reset” button at the back of your device for 10 seconds and then let it power on and stabilize for few seconds before connecting it to Mac.

Check your DNS settings: The DNS enables your Mac to convert domain names into IP addresses. If the DNS server of your Mac is offline or faulty it will result in loss of internet connection. To check whether your DNS is working fine, open your web browser and type in https://74.125.230.243 in the given URL field, if it connects you to Google that means your internet connection is fine and your browser is having the issue with the domain name.

To fix this issue, open your Network Panel and select your network connection from the left-hand menu. In the DNS server field you will notice one or more than one IP addresses, if those IP addresses are enabled, disable them by clicking on the “Minus” sign. Now click on “Plus” sign and add 208.67.222.220. This is an open DNS setting which works better than most of the preferred ones.

Hopefully, the above-mentioned steps helped you in Resetting Wifi and getting your internet connection resolved. If Resetting Wifi didn’t resolve your issue, kindly reply back on what you did not understand or facing the issue with.
