How to Change Your NETGEAR Wireless Router Settings?

Hey Guys, I have a NETGEAR Wireless Router for last 2 month but that time I want to configure my Router setting and I tried many times but unable to resolve So can anyone have any solution how to Change my NETGEAR Wireless Router Settings.

Change Netgear Router Settings:

For changing the wireless setting on Netgear router for that you need to have computer or smartphone for making any changes on router.you need to connect the computer to the netgear router with cable or wireless (wifi).

once you get connected with netgear router you need to open the browser (google chrome) and follow the following steps.

  • You need to open the broswer and open the website HTTP // 192.168.1.1 or www.routerlogin.net 

  •  Enter the router username and password when display on screen then put default user name is admin. The default password is password then click ok. now you can change any thing on the router .
  •  For Example :you can changes wifi setting in given following steps.

  • You will see netgear router Pages with be display on screen , now you need to Click on wireless setting under setup menu on screen.select wireless ,now you need see the wireless name( wifi name) and wireless Security (Password) then enter your new user name in the Name (SSID) field. enter your new password in the Password (Network Key) fields.
  •  Click the apply Button on screen ,you will see the screen updating setting then your changes will be saved .

If your device disconnects from the wireless network, view the available wireless network again and enter the new WiFi Security key ( password).
